Halliburton and other Bush/Cheney Cronies get first Katrina relief contracts

Hooray, it looks like cronyism rules the day even during national disasters. Dick Cheney's "former" employer, Halliburton, has (through its Kellogg, Brown and Root subsidiary) taken some of the first post-Katrina contracts. Nothing like funnelling money to your friends on the backs of the American taxpayer after an American tragedy. I'd be fine with this if KBR and Halliburton haven't already been repeatedly convicted or chastised for bilking the government out of hundreds of millions of dollars. Other Bush and Cheney buddies are on the take as well.
