Ice cream sales to help power electric car
Kimberly’s Ice Cream Factory in Cazenovia will host a fundraiser for the Cazenovia High School electric car team from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Guest scoopers will include tech club adviser Chris Hurd, principals of all three district schools, several teachers and Dave Coombs from TK 99 radio station.
The store will donate 10 percent of its sales to the Technology Club, which is raising $3,000 to participate in the Electrathon competition at Lime Rock Raceway in Connecticut later this month.
