Alltel, the telephone company that provides land-line service to Cazenovia homes and businesses, has sold that part of its operations and will now focus exclusively on wireless service (i.e. cell phones and related technology). The buyer is a Texas company called "Valor Communications". I have no idea what this means for all of us who are Alltel customers, or whether DSL and other services will be affected.
