Planning Board Approves Chenango Crossing

In a unanimous vote, the Cazenovia village planning board has given its approval to rezoning for the proposed Chenango Crossing development. Bob Baker of the Post-Standard covered the meeting.

The proposed development contains one access point (instead of the first-proposed two) and 21 homes instead of the initial 26. The planning board also instituted a requirement that there be a 30-foot "no build" zone on the Chenango Street and Old Farms borders to the proposed development, and that land adjacent to the development be designated "forever wild".
