Tourism campaign kicks off Madison County Tourism is sending flyers to 16,000 households in Westchester, Albany, Broome, Saratoga, Onondaga and Monroe counties encouraging them to take a weekend getaway to Madison County.Posted by jimj at February 17, 2006 12:41 PM | TrackBackThe mass mailing lists symptoms of cabin fever, including restless kids, achy shovel back, dry skin and frozen gutters, and suggest the cure is a weekend stay at one of Madison County’s five bed and breakfasts. Madison County Tourism Director Jim Walter said the campaign will target households with an annual income of $80,000 a year and a home value from $150,000 to $500,000.
“We think these people offer the best profile for impulse weekend get always to Madison County's historic inns,” Walter said.
