Idle Chatter

I live on a street with a 45 MPH speed limit. After nine years of this, I have a pretty good idea of who obeys it and who doesn't. Especially when I stand with my daughter and wait for the school bus.

Many people go by at 55-60 MPH, with the occasional 65+ mile-per-hour person. Please, if you drive around town remember that families with kids live here and our roads have lots of little dips and curves that will make it very difficult for you to stop your vehicle if you're traveling well above the speed limit.

That's doubly true if you drive a truck loaded with something heavy like gravel or wood.

Thank you.
