Residents of the village and town of Cazenovia met last Tuesday with Dr. Mark Tierno, president of Cazenovia College, to discuss the college's plans to expand its library, among other topics. The college wants to expand but cannot do so under current village zoning regulations. It also would prefer to find alternatives to expansion via purchase of private homes in areas around the college. Cazenovia village mayor Tom Dougherty joined with Tierno in describing the constraints and opportunities available, with input from residents.
