Congratulations to the New York Mets: 2006 National League Eastern Division Champions!
You might not know that I'm a Mets fan - but I'm a dyed-in-the-wool, long-suffering, devoted one. And the Mets tonight won their first division title since 1988 by dispatching the Florida Marlins by a score of 4-0. Congratulations to the Mets and thank you to all the players, coaches, management, and fans for making this a very exciting season so far! Let's Go Mets!
