Sullivan also considers development moratorium

A proposed plan to rezone portions of Route 31 in the town of Sullivan from residential to light-use commercial has been criticized by residents of the area in question, whose petition against the change led to the formation of a committee to recommend a strategy. That commission has recommended that the town institute a moratorium on any zone changes and development until a comprehensive plan can be completed.

This news parallels, somewhat, the moratorium enacted by the town of Cazenovia board last month that limits development on US Route 20 east of the village.
