Bush will start talking about the economy
I guess when you have perpetrated a prolonged, illegal war for the purpose of enriching your buddies, the time eventually has to come to change your message because you're worried about your party losing power and having to be accountable for your disastrous policies. Get ready to hear lots and lots of talk about how Democrats are going to "tax and spend" you to death. Nevermind the hundreds of billions we've spent under full Republican control to make our schools worse, have thousands of American troops (and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians) die, and all the while Republicans are chuckling away, spending your money.
Unbelievable. Yes, I'm angry.
Surely the brainwashed voters of America could not care less that just a couple of months ago the Republicans were blaming high gasoline prices, the failure to catch bin Laden, and the Mark Foley/Tim Reynolds/Dennis Hastert page scandal all on the action (or inaction) of DEMOCRATS. Now they will be happy to take credit for those falling prices at the pump and the rising Dow Jones index. If you're not outraged, wake up, please!

A Marine and four soldiers are dead today in Iraq, bringing the total number of US military men and women killed in October - a month with nine more full days to go - to 83. Also killed today were 44 Iraqi civilians when a group of police recruits were attacked as they awaited a bus to take them to a celebration of the end of Ramadan.
