Open auditions are being held for Seussical: The Musical at Cazenovia College. Here are the details as provided by the College's public relations service:
Cazenovia, N.Y. –Auditions for “Seussical the Musical,” will be held on Wednesday Jan. 24 in the Catherine Cummings Theatre at Cazenovia College, 18 Lincklaen St., from 3:30 to 5 p.m. “Seussical” is based on the works of children's author Theodore Geisel, known to the world as Dr. Seuss. The play will be staged Friday through Sunday, April 13 to 15; and Friday through Sunday, April 20 to 22. Each auditioner should prepare a short song with or without accompaniment that shows off his or her voice and personality. Callbacks will be held on Friday Feb. 2 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
The production is being directed by David Lowenstein, who was a cast-member in the original Broadway cast of “Seussical;” and is produced by Colleen Prossner, executive director of the Catherine Cummings Theatre at Cazenovia College.
