At the Cazenovia town highway department, the problems - and potential costs to taxpayers - continue to mount. Apparently, the DEC is investigating possible groundwater contamination at the new Town of Cazenovia highway garage.
The board and supervisor were already dealing with unauthorized dumping by the previous highway superintendent, and now they have to contend with this. The current highway supervisor now much focus lots of time and energy on these inherited problems instead of on helping to move us foward. How sad for Cazenovia.
