How do you sleep at night?

When I read stuff like this article about the role of mercenaries in the Iraq war, it gets me just as angry about the war as I was in March 2003. Thousands of American soldiers are dead in this war; the author speculates that number would be smaller if it weren't for the actions - outside the law - of the "private military contractors" (mercenaries) there.

There is a lot of evil in the world. A lot of it these days seems to be concentrated in the White House and in organizations that promoted and perpetuated lies about the war such as the American Enterprise Institute. Sickening.

I agree with you 100%. I can't imagine what is going on that we know nothing about. I live very near many Marines who have just returned and some who just left for Iraq. None of them talk about what is going on there, but its very clear they don't want to go back. I talk to many of them and they know I didn't support the war and they also know that I support them 100%.

I have zero trust for this admistration and little confidence on both sides of the isle Senete and Congress. I'm sorry to say that I don't see a candidate I like either.

Like everyone else I'll remember 9/11 forever and don't have to be reminded of it 100 times a day by those running on the fear factor. I will vote for he person who runs the most positive campaign if there is such and animal.

This following was written in Col. Paul Kelly's funeral program: "Dear Dad, I just wanted to tell you I miss you a lot. I was looking forward to Play foot Ball with you. You're my Best friend and the Best Dad ever. We miss you. Love, Paul your son."

Col. Kelly was a member of the Virginia National Guard and was one of 12 soldiers who died when their helicopter was shot down over Iraq. I've had enough. Bring them home.
