UPDATE: The developers in question are noted as Scott Shannon and Ed Green in this article about the Cazenovia apartment, retail, and park project. The article provides more details about the scope of the project and the financial and municipal considerations.
"[A] developer" (the story doesn't say who) is planning to build a senior apartment building and park in the space on Riverside Drive formerly occupied by the town highway garage. I don't know anything more about this story. Does anybody?

Jim - Proposed by none other than Scott Shannon and Ed Green. Search for "scott shannon" at syracuse.com

Posted by: Jim at March 11, 2008 12:24 PMVery interesting. Happy about the green roof idea, and the settling ponds. Right now all it takes is 5 minutes of heavy rain to wash a big plume of silt into the creek from the brownfield. I'd like assurances that the fishery will be protected during all this construction.
I wonder how Riverside will be "realigned to meet Albany St."?
