Cazenovia College Art Gallery's Fall Schedule
Exhibitions include eclectic mix of media and lectures
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery will resume its academic year schedule, opening for the Fall Semester on Thursday, Sept 4. Gallery Director Jen Pepper is on sabbatical; in her place, Jeremy Randall, adjunct instructor of studio art, is the interim acting director of the Gallery. Thursday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 28: Specificities of Place – a group exhibition including Willson Cummer, Emily Farranto, Arthur Kvarnstrom, Sarah McCoubrey, Nathan Sullivan and Lynn Saville. An artist's lecture and reception are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the gallery.
Thursday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 31 (closed Oct. 11 – 14): Landmarks:Beyond the Baroque Playing Field – a group exhibition including: Kelly Hider, Jason Lanka and Jennifer Pawol. An artist's lecture and reception are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the gallery.
Thursday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Dec. 5 (closed Nov. 24 – 30): Atelier Four – four printmakers including Amy Bucholz, Bruce Muirhead, Jake Muirhead and William Salzillo. An artist's lecture and reception are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the gallery.
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary.
Dec. 9 through Jan. 21: The gallery is closed during winter recess.
