Circa owner in Cazenovia recovering quickly after brain surgery

The spirited restaurant owner who threw a party in the face of brain surgery is already back on her feet.

Alicyn Hart, head chef and owner of the restaurant Circa on Albany Street in Cazenovia, had a brain tumor removed March 23. Beforehand, she prepared for surgery by throwing a “head-shaving party.” Just 12 hours after the surgery was over, she was eager to get on her feet.
