From the Post-Standard: “The largest request [for economic development funding] in Madison County is $1.05 million for Empire Farmstead Brewery in Cazenovia. The plan calls for 75 jobs to be created in the next five years.”

Village improves public parking

The village of Cazenovia has responded to a long-standing dearth of public parking. The solution, at least for now, is a new lot behind the public library, on space that once was home to the Town’s highway garage.

Cazenovia Beverage Trail Features Cidery, Winery, and Breweries

Two stops on the beverage trail are now open (Critz Farms’ Harvest Moon Cidery in Cazenovia and Good Nature Brewing in Hamilton), with Owera Vineyards’ tasting room set to open in September 2012 and Empire Brewing Company’s new Cazenovia location set to open in summer 2013.
